
Firecracker Jerk BBQ Meatballs

Juicy meatballs simmered in Danfo Jerk BBQ Sauce for the ultimate crowd-pleasing appetizer. Slightly crispy on the outside, tender inside, and coated in Danfo Jerk BBQ Sauce. Great for parties, game nights, or holiday buffets.
Flavor Used: Mild or Spicy (both work great!)
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs ground beef or turkey (or use pre-cooked frozen meatballs of your choice)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup grated onion or onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp oil (for pan browning)
- 1 cup Danfo Jerk BBQ Sauce
- Optional garnish: sesame seeds, scallions
Instructions
(If using pre-made meatballs, skip to Step 3.) In a large bowl, mix ground meat, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Form into 1-inch balls.
- In a skillet, heat oil and brown meatballs on all sides (work in batches if needed).
- Transfer browned meatballs to a crock pot or slow cooker.
- Pour in Danfo Jerk BBQ Sauce and stir gently to coat.
- Cook on LOW for 2–3 hours or HIGH for 1–1.5 hours until fully cooked and glazed.
Serving Suggestion
Serve with toothpicks for easy grab-and-go. Garnish with sesame seeds or herbs. Can be made ahead and kept warm in the crockpot.
